Lead singer Stan and bassist Herb were interviewed as part of Pete Chambers' Pop Into The Past slot during Bob Brolly's Friday radio show on BBC
WM on Friday 13th May at around 3pm. Tracks from album were previewed and there was a chance to win a couple of Special Brew prizes. |
CHANNEL 4 APPEARANCE ON 2-TONE BRITAIN DOCUMENTARY |
| Special Brew made their debut TV appearance on the Channel 4 documentary about 2-Tone aired at 11pm on Monday 29th November. The band were featured in rehearsal at Coventry's Jailhouse music venue and were interviewed about their life long fascination with the label and its bands. |
A MESSAGE TO YOU RUDY |
| Thank you to all of you who have been to see the band so far. It has been wonderful to see that our love of Ska and all things 2 Tone is shared by so many people. We have met so many great people already including Ska fans new and old, and a few new converts! Despite most of us having been in bands for nearly 20 years, we can honestly say that the experience of playing in Special Brew is far more rewarding than anything we have known to date. Keep on coming through the door and keep on skankin! |
